Accelight ASP28C-LR is designed for use in 25 Gb/s links over single fibers. It is compliant with the SFP28 MSA and industry standard SFF-8472. The module incorporates a 1310nm DML based transmitters and a receiver using PIN photo detectors. It supports a data rate of up to 28 Gbps. The transmission distance is up to 10km using single mode fiber (SMF). The transceiver module uses a 20-contact electrical edge connector. Integrated with digital diagnostic monitors accessible via a Two Wire Serial interface (I2C), it is suitable for high speed long-reach data center and cloud computing interconnects.
